Perfect Face Aesthetic Medicine is an upscale, chic, customer-centric medical practice with services that include perfectly placed Botox, brightening medical-grade Chemical Peels, world-class Microneedling, PDO Threads, regenerating and rejuvenating IV Therapies, Feminine Wellness, and Laser Hair Removal.

The Medical Assistant will interface with clients and our Providers constantly, and thus will be critical to the success of our operations. In this role, you will be the first and last person to interact with the client, during the appointment. You will be responsible for supporting the Providers to ensure their time spent with each client is as efficient as possible. 

Your duties will include: maintaining a clean/stocked room, patient medical intake, medical photography, blood draws, and IV placement, numbing, assisting providers during and after each appointment.

You allow our clients to feel welcome, comfortable, informed, and supported during their visits and make them feel like PFAMily!

Key Responsibilities

  • In support of our Physician and Nurse Practitioner Providers. Numbing, blood draws, medical intake, before/afters, clearing treatment rooms, stocking and prepping medical supplies
  • Review and discuss pricing options and treatment plans with clients
  • Support clients with their day to day needs via email or in person questions
  • Be a subject matter expert on all things PFAM (ie have a  thorough understanding of our services, products, and treatments)

Requirements

  • Medical Assistant Certificate, Registered Nurse, or medical assistant experience (i.e. hygenist) 
  •  1+ years of experience as an MA,  working in a medical and/or spa setting
  • Experience or exposure to dermatology, cosmetic, or aesthetics a plus
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients/patients on medical services rendered, and clinic policies and procedures
  • YOU MUST KNOW HOW TO PERFORM PHLEBOTOMY (draw blood) to be considered for this position 
  • Ability to at least work 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM  3 days/week  - Tu, Th, Fri
  • Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills - Must be customer service oriented and able to communicate effectively with client and management
  • Self-starter and strong initiative to streamline and improve processes

*As the final step of your interview process at PFAM, we require an on-site orientation/acclimation visit to ensure a good fit. This visit is typically 3-4 hours, and is prior to official employment at PFAM, therefore unpaid. This is a great opportunity for you to get acclimated with our office environment and tempo, and for us to further get to know you. 

Compensation:  $22-$26/hr+, depending on experience.  Employment growth opportunities.

PFAM is seeking a knowledgeable and joyful Esthetician with just the Perfect touch! The ideal candidate will be a CA Licensed Medical Esthetician that is:

  • Trained/Experienced in advanced skincare treatments and services (i.e. Diamond Glow, Hydrafacial, Oxygeneo…)
  • Able to commit at least 3 full days per week, including 2 Saturdays per month
  • A skincare guru who enjoys educating clients and has a passion for people, skincare, and the business 
  • A natural at fostering relationships that build trust with clients
  • Leverages IG effectively and has a social media voice and influence (at least 2K followers preferred, but not required) 
  • Excited to learn more about Aesthetics and how weaving Aesthetic services into a routine of Esthetic services (and vice versa) can be beneficial 
  • Enthusiastic about flexing as a medical assistant, or assist with office duties during non-session time

  • Trained/Experienced in various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, sports massage, trigger point therapy, reflexology, swedish, etc. 
  •  Knowledge of other various modalities preferred
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  •  Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocol
  •  Understand and believe in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork
  • A natural at fostering relationships that builds trust with clients
  • Able to commit to 2 Saturdays per month, including weekday shifts.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid Massage Therapy license/certification in the state of CA/ liability insurance
  • CPR certification (preferred)
  • Ability to pass a background check

We are seeking an experienced Aesthetic Injector of medical aesthetic & skincare services to join our team at our upscale La Jolla Location. We seek an individual who is confident, warm, detail-oriented yet nimble, is fun-loving, has a positive energy, and is stylishly original in both their presentation and personality. Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience providing medical aesthetics 
  • Ability to bring positive energy to an amazing team environment. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other providers, and our office support staff to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Understanding of HIPPA and OSHA compliance
  • Full understanding of treatments used in the office, and ability and interest in learning about the skincare we offer
  • Ability to maintain availability for services at 8  hours/day at least 3 days/week.
  • Ability to dedicate 2 weekend days per month. 
  • Ability to follow company protocols, policies, and legal guidelines of the field
  • BCLS and ALS certification required
  • RN, NP, PA, or MD accepted
  • Full understanding of treatments offered at our office, and interest in learning about the skincare we offer

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clients with an unparalleled and individualized personal experience, which begins even before the client sets foot in our office. 
  • Ensure safety and satisfaction of all patients under your care, from initial consultation and throughout the lifespan of their client journey. 
  • Use expertise and prior training to perform medical aesthetics treatments and services, as determined appropriate, including but not limited to: 
  • Injectables including but not limited to neurotoxins, biostimulators, and fillers
  • Microneedling, Lasers & Devices 
  • Customer retention to exceed 90%, and satisfaction to exceed 95% 
  • Use our company-managed Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to record and chart patient details and medical history. 
  • Actively participate and engage in team meetings and provider meetings
  • Assist in coaching and training of new and existing MAs 
  • Ensure HIPAA and OSHA compliance
  • Maintain continuing education and required certifications to provide services rendered (Must maintain an active license to practice - RN, NP, PA or MD)
  • Become fully familiar with our brand 
  • Maintain an active company-owned Instagram account which aligns with brand and marketing guidelines set forth by the Company
  •  Be a  “Brand Ambassador” with all of the privileges and responsibilities that may include (i.e. no profanity, no inappropriate dress, and images/videos representing PFAM must be on-brand). 
  • Maintain a company-sponsored email account and communicate directly with clients as needed. (To that end, this role requires up to 5 additional hours of administrative work per month.)
